TrueView video ad formats

TrueView video ads allow YouTube users to choose what video ads they want to watch, giving you more value per view. There are two formats:

  • In-stream ads that run in a video. These give users the option to skip the ad after a few seconds.
  • Video discovery ads that appear in search results, related video lists or the YouTube mobile homepage.
