Active View is a tool supplied by Google on Youtube and certain Display Network websites an mobile apps. It tracks the viewability of an ad, or how likely an ad is to be seen, which is largely determined by:

  • How much percent of an ad is viewable on a screen
  • How long the ad remains viewable on a screen

It helps advertisers assess the value of an impression.
