Facebook Metrics

Post reactions

Definition: Post reactions are the total amount of reactions to Facebook ads (like, love, haha, wow, sad or angry).

How it’s used: Post reactions on Facebook indicate that ads are relevant to the target market which, in turn, helps ads perform better. After reacting to a post, people automatically follow further reactions and comments, which can encourage them to engage in an ongoing conversation on a business Page.

Measuring how an ad helped to influence certain reactions enables business owners to tailor future posts. The post reactions metric counts all reactions an ad received while running.
